Notes for 2006-01-17
It appears that the data for today records the passing of an occluded front from around 09:00 onwards (see my write-up about this here).
At around 12:00 the clouds cleared and sunlight falling on the thermometer seems to have caused yet another spike in the temperature readings (something that shouldn't bother me for much longer).
At 00:18 and 10:27 pressure values of 11111hPa were recorded; these seem to be down to a problem with Open3600. At 14:02 a pressure value of 785.4hPa was recorded; this would appear to be a problem with the base station as this showed up as a minimum pressure value on the WS3600. In each case the values have been modified to match those around them.
